An Afternoon with Steven Gerrard

Legend and Liverpool OG, Steven Gerrard, was in Kuala Lumpur to announce the “AllStar Legends” exhibition match that will be happening later in the year at National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.

Present at the press conference were Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Ministry, Mordi Bimol; AllStar Sports Project Director, Steven Windsor; Founder of World Football legends, Ian Holahan as well as sponsors and media representatives.

Some of the names who are set to feature in the match include former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam, former Chelsea forward Eidur Gudjohnsen, and ex-Leeds defender Ian Harte. They will be joined by former AC Milan goalkeeper Dida, ex-Barcelona striker Javier Saviola, and former Inter Milan defender Maicon.

Following the press conference was a meet-and-greet session which saw die hard RED supporters from around the region travel the distance to get up close with their Liverpool icon, Steven Gerrard. The event concluded with smiles and a memorable experience for all the attendees.
